Ullapool bay in the Scottish highlands
I was in Ullapool on the spring for the Adult Feis. What a fantastic weekend – there were countless opportunities for taking landscape photos around Ullapool. it’s a very photogenic place. The weekend was also packed with music, friends and fun, with a fantastic line up of musicians teaching and performing, and some lively sessions going on late into the night.
And someone even thought to lay on sunshine for the weekend. Perfect!

Take an action shot of something you don’t personally do
This one is another suggestion for the Moving Red Gallery, and, Niall, I’m afraid I’ve cheated a wee bit on this one . It could hardly be called an action shot, but it’s certainly something I don’t personally do!
On my jaunt down to Cramond after Tuesday’s storm, I arrived at the harbour just as the last of the yachtsmen were heading into the boat club. They left behind this lovely array of yachts – evidence of the activity that I’d just missed!
