Still frozen

I’m amazed at how quickly it warmed up today. My central heating is switched off, and it was too hot for a jacket when I was out this afternoon. Despite that, the canal is still pretty much frozen solid, with just a little water on the surface, which created some lovely effects as the sun started to go down.
